Marc Jacobs Aoyama: 1st Anniversary

The gorgeous Marc Jacobs shop located on Omotesando celebrated its first anniversary by throwing a stylish little fete. My impeccably dressed friend Takahiro (he was snapped by Vogue) and I stopped by the event, where I had the chance to meet friendly marketing director Martin Webb, who warmly welcomed us into the shop and showed us around.

I spent a little while swooning over all the beautiful clothes and accessories and mingling with the other guests. We were offered a selection of sparkling wines and cocktails, based with none other than Sofia Coppola's Blanc de Blancs, as well as handbag-shaped cookies (with the ever famous MJ quilted pattern) and mini cupcakes.

We were lucky to be escorted around by gracious Mr. Webb and the doting staff, as our glasses were constantly refilled, sweets offered, introductions made, and gift bags given. It was such a lovely celebration, elegant and sophisticated, a perfect image of the brand.

Cookies: handbags, clutches and wallets, oh my!
Mini cupcakes, so dainty and sweet.

The quilted bag. Almost too precious to eat. *Almost.*

Happy, happy anniversary!

Happy Anniversary, Marc Jacobs Aoyama, and special thanks to Mr. Martin Webb.
